    Martello beach

Your comment is fair but Martello beach and onwards away from Clacton is a thorn to Tendring council. They would wish it never existed.
However the toilets are a long walk from Martello tower only because the council will not build any or put portables.
I personally apologise for your troubled day. Please do not be put off by the skint Flint council.

    Where are the toilets

The first time we ventured to this end of Clacton but this seemed to be a gem of a beach for the grandkids. Easy to park right on the sandy beach. Even some palm trees.
The two major problem the 100s of people found were that the carpark wasn’t taking cash & secondly it was miles to the nearest toilets. Both the cafe & the Martello carvery actively stopped the public using theirs & the nearest we were informed was ‘half way to the pier’.
    Is this really acceptable?
